Description
HYDROCAL-M4 is a compact apartment heat meter from B METERS (Italy) that measures energy for heating and/or cooling in centrally serviced systems. The inductive reading of the turbine eliminates the influence of external magnets, and the wM-Bus or LoRaWAN options allow reliable remote reading in fixed networks and walk-by. If cable integration to metering systems is required, an IR-MB-Pulse module with M-Bus output and pulse inputs is added.
The device supports configuration via buttons or NFC (Android), has an 8-digit LCD display with icons and a rich menu for queries, including monthly/biweekly and annual histories.

For apartments, qp 0.6 / 1.5 / 2.5 m³/h are most commonly used, depending on the design flow rates and pressure drop. The choice of communication (wM-Bus, LoRaWAN, or M-Bus) depends on the available infrastructure and the frequency of readings.
